Resuscitation
and automated external defibrillator (AED) Training
The course aims to ensure that all
members of staff can identify and deal with clinical emergencies within
the workplace and safely use automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
The course will include dealing with unconscious
casualties, dealing with airway obstructions, respiratory and
circulatory arrest. Participants
will have the opportunity to practice Basic Life Support and the use
of resuscitation equipment.
The course is ideal for any member of
staff who may be called upon as a 'first responder' in an emergency.

This session is delivered in accordance with the Resuscitation Council
(UK) competencies in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of
automated external defibrillators
Only
Resuscitation Council (UK) Certified Advanced Life Support Instructors
will teach this course.
